Taligaman NHS Conducts Virtual INSET

On February 2 – 4, 2022, Taligaman National High School (Taligaman NHS) conducted the Virtual School-Based In-Service Training via Google meet to sustain the capacity of the teachers in providing quality teaching and learning in the classroom.
 
Various topics were discussed by the Resource Speakers such as: Project CORDS (Coded and Organized Records in Digital System) by Mr. Ian S. Ortojan; Creating PPT utilizing Canva by Mr. Eldon Jay T. Balais; Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) by Mrs. Espraquien E. Alemania; Technical Writing by Ms. Hannah A. Butcon; Project SERVES (Sustaining Effective and Responsive Various Events for Students) by Mr. Glen B. Pacot; Urban Gardening by Mr. Argen G. Salvador; and Taligaman National High School Faculty, Employees, and Retirees Association (TNHSFERA) Matters by Mrs. Judalyn B. Mondejar.
 
This activity was in pursuant to DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2021 (School Calendar and Activities for School Year 2021-2022) which reiterated that the last three days of the five-day mid-year break may be devoted for the conduct of the School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) activities for teachers’ continued professional development and the preparation for their Instructional Materials (IMs).
 
“I found this INSET beneficial for my profession. I learned a lot!”, said Ms. Danica S. Cuevas, Grade 7 Teacher.
 
This INSET is also one of the activities under Project TRAIN (Teachers, Staff, and Heads Relevant and Assisted Trainings for Improved and Necessary Services) in the Enhanced-School Improvement Plan (E-SIP). ###
