2017 National Festival of Talents set in Dipolog City

BUTUAN CITY – The Department of Education (DepEd) through the Bureau of Curriculum Development will conduct the 2017 national Festival of Talents (NFOT) on January 23 to 26, 2017.
The theme for the 2017 NFOT will focus on “Celebrating Humanity and Cultural Diversity”. Said activity is simultaneously with the 2017 National Schools Press Conference NSPC) at the different venues in Dipolog City.
The NFOT will provide the learners from public and private secondary schools and Alternative Learning System (ALS) with opportunities to showcase their talents through exhibitions of their products and performances as evidence of their learning.
Also, the NFOT will extend parallel learning sessions for teachers and learners to enhance their knowledge and skills in their respective fields of interest.

The different skills exhibitions during the 2017 NFOT include the Technolympics or the Technology and Livelihood Education and Technical-Vocational-Livelihood; Sining Tanghalan (Arts); National Population Quiz and On-the-Spot Skills Exhibitions on PopDev (Araling Panlipunan); Pambansang Tagisan ng Talino (Filipino); and Foreign Language Skills Showcase (Special Program in Foreign Language). ## (Fortunato Esma Caldoza, Jr. SST-III, ANHS Science Department)
