Embracing the new paradigm in education introduces the marvelous benefits of providing technical assistance to teachers as a form of professional help, guidance and support which aims teacher’s improvement in  terms of their pedagogical know-how, the skills, the competence they need especially in this new normal setup in order to be more effective in the performance of their functions to ensure the delivery of accessible, basic, relevant and liberating quality education.

In order to make the TA journey more meaningful and significant in the lives of every teacher, both the TA provider and the client should have a full trust with each other, reminding the client of his or her prime responsibility and accountability, respect one’s capability, provide alternatives for professional growth and development which emphasizes the concept that learning is cooperative and a collaborative process.  As John Hanley pens, “people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care”.

Furthermore, TA provides an avenue for strengthening teacher’s weaknesses and addressing the diverse needs of their learners. It also provides ample opportunities in making teaching and learning experiences more meaningful. When TA is properly and effectively implemented in the school, the feeling of satisfaction, respect, affection, and recognition is gained. Thus, effective teaching and learning will be equated with excellence coupled with valued-results inspired with better performance. ###
