BES teachers train on basic computer literacy
In order to cope up with the world of technology and be digitally literate professionals, Bit-os Elementary School and San Roque Elementary School teachers attended the three-day INSET on Basic Computer Literacy and for Teachers last November 3 and 4 and November 15, 2016 held at Bit-os Elementary School e-classroom.
Mr. Karl Lemuel A. Serrano, CMT-II employee at DSWD Caraga took the lead as the resource speaker on the said training. He started his talk on the basic concepts on computer parts and their functions and some principles in the use of technology as a tool in teaching. He comprehensively discussed important details on Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point Presentation, Publisher, Adobe Photoshop and Google Doc in which the participants were asked to produce one output in each session topics. Furthermore, Mrs. Madelyn A. Malot shared some inputs on the application of automated ECR and Test Results Analysis and other technology-driven reports to teachers.
The said training aims to train teachers on the basic computer literacy and basic computer applications using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Adobe Photoshop and Google Doc, update teachers on the new trends in teaching using computer-aided programs and software and apply automated ECR and Test Results Analysis in their daily undertakings.
