To reflect oneself and unite as one with the Divine presence in the soul, DBESI Cluster-B Schools Director Rev. Fr. Mart James C. Presillas conducted a recollection to Grade 6 learners of Pedro-Victorina Calo Elementary School (PVCES) batch 2024 on May 27 at the quadrangle.

With the theme, “Grade 6 Learners, Sali ka sa pagninilay!”, a total of 158 learners attended the recollection together with their class advisers headed by Master Teacher I, Maria Angelica P. Hagonos.

At the first part, the learners responded on the inquiries of what, who, and why about their favorites and shared answers to their batch mates.

Meanwhile, parting words was released to the PVCES Graduates of Batch 2024.

“Amidst the VUCA world, particularly the complexity or multiplicity of lifeworlds, worldviews, trends, likes, opinions, beliefs, empirical scientific positions, and others (which you personally experience at social media sites), I pray and hope that you always remain of who you are truly – as “one, true, good, special, beloved, gifted, and empowered children of God”, said DBESI Cluster-B Schools Director Rev. Fr. Mart James C. Presillas.

School director Fr. Presillas said that embracing this truth from Him makes a person evade from being entangled or swayed by temporary idols or fleeting identities.

“Once again, you are always “MATATAG” learners because your identity is grounded on one, true, good, especial, beloved, gifted, and empowered being, doing, and having. Embrace, live, and share it according to your pacing with God’s divine wisdom and His instrumentalities,” Fr. Presillas added.

He also emphasized the importance of staying grounded in the principles of “I am, I do, and I have” to avoid from being caught-up at materialism, consumerism, and self-creation or false sense of freedom.

A Holy Mass was then celebrated as the final part of the recollection to the graduates of batch 2024 attended with PVCES Faculty. ###
