Baobaoan Integrated School Holds Orientation and Modular Distance Learning Dry Run to Parents
In line with the implementation of print modular distance learning of Baobaoan Integrated School (BIS), an orientation and dry run was conducted to parents last September 3, 2020, 9:00 -11:00 am at Brgy Covered Court of Baobaoan, Butuan City. The event was spearheaded by Epifanio C. Sulapas, the Head Teacher III of the said school in association with General Parents Teacher Association (GPTA) President, Hon. Lita G. Adlawon. The event was successfully done in cooperation with and supervision by the Bgry Officials headed by Brgy Captain, Hon. Razel D. Ocho and Philippine National Police Butuan City Police Station 4 headed by Police Chief Sgt. Allan Boligol. As an educational institution, BIS intends to inform the parents on the new rules and regulation, set forth by the Department of Education in collaboration with IATF, to be observed and to be followed for the school year 2020-2021. Moreover, a dry run on the distribution and retrieval of modules was demonstrated to guide parents on the dos and don’ts of MDL.
The orientation was attended by one hundred-twelve (112) parents, nine (9) teachers, three (3) brgy officials, five (5) GPTA Board of Directors, and five (5) police personnel. Meanwhile, Brgy Captain Hon. Razel D. Ocho and GPTA President, Hon. Lita G. Adlawon both encouraged the parents to strengthen their support to their children’s quest to quality education amidst Covid-19 crisis. In addition, Chief Sgt. Allan Boligol discussed the laws implemented under his jurisdiction as ordered by the authority to provide awareness on peace and order as well as Covid-19 and quarantine health protocols. ###
