DepEd to conduct webinar series on Integrated Learning in Early Childhood

Through its unwavering commitment to the Early Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Program, the Department of Education (DepEd) recognized the importance of early foundational literacy skills alongside continuous professional development of teachers and instructional leaders.
DepEd through the Bureau of Learning Delivery – Teaching and Learning Division in partnership with the Regional English Language Office, US Embassy in the Philippines, will conduct a Webinar Series on Integrated Learning in Early Childhood: Focus on Literacy and Numeracy starting March 21, 2022 until April 27, 2022.
Select teachers from K to 3 are the expected participants while their school head/principal will serve as trainers for the conduct of roll-out training in the region and/or division.
The webinar series will be held via zoom platform with six modules, to include: What is “Content and Language, Integrated Learning”; Bridging the Language Divide; Fundamentals of Early Literacy; Developing Literacy Skills; Balancing content and Attitude Goals in the Classroom; and Teaching in English: Critical Thinking Activities, CLIL, and Assessments. ###
