Caraga English Proficiency Program for Teachers, School Leaders set in Caraga

The Department of Education (DepEd) through the National Educators of the Philippines and the Curriculum and Learning Management Division will conduct the Caraga English Proficiency Program for Teachers and School Leaders (Teaching Grammar Communicatively in the Philippines) on March 29-31, 2022 via Online Platform at https://meet.google.com/sqr-msfz-ecg and Facebook Live streaming. This is in partnership with the United States Embassy in the Philippines Regional English Office.
 
The activity is a cascading activity of the Webinar Trainees to ensure the transfer of knowledge gained during the conduct of Teaching Grammar in the Philippines conducted on March 22 to May 6, 2021 via zoom.
 
The activity is aimed to describe the Communicative Language Teaching (CTL) Approach in relationship to Language acquisition and how they inform the characteristics of Teaching Grammar Communicatively; use the Form-Meaning-Use (FMU) framework to identify relevant grammar features and present grammar with selected lesson; identify and evaluate errors and use variety of feedback and error correction techniques; and create a communicative grammar lesson using template.
 
Participants of the activity include 25 teachers per SDOs, resource speakers/facilitators and the program management team. ###
