Although coronavirus disease cases are declining 2019 (Covid-19), some parents remain half-hearted in sending their children back to school for face-to-face classes. Not until the virus is eliminated or the entire population is vaccinated, some parents said, adding that they prefer to keep their children at home for blended learning. Others, however, want their children to live more normally and reduce the stress of staying home for more than a year now.
Netizens have conflicting opinions on the reopening of face-to-face classes especially in schools in rural areas like Butuan Central Elementary School based on some parents who were asked while taking modules for their children at school. But there are those who want to have face-to-face classes because they find it difficult to teach their children. Their children also do not learn because their children do not listen to them when they do and answer their modules.
Furthermore, parents want to ensure that health and safety protocols are still strictly enforced. When it needs to be implemented and have in the next school year 2022-2023 face-to-face classes. ###
