MECQ in Butuan City, Extended!

Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine in Butuan City was declared last month of June and now it is extended to July 1-15,2021. This is due to the increasing Covid19 positive cases in the city.
MECQ means, any person below 18 years old, those who are more than 65 years old, those with immunodeficiency, comorbidity, or other health risks, and pregnant women shall be required to remain in their residences at all times, except for obtaining essential goods and services, or for work in industries and offices.
Color coding scheme for home quarantine pass should strictly be followed.
Home quarantine pass with black signature is valid for Mondays and Thursdays. Blue signature is for Tuesday and Friday and the red signature is valid for Wednesday and Saturday.
According to the record from the DOH Caraga last June 30, 38 people were added to the recovery list and 58 were added to the confirmed positive cases with covid19.
About 6,284 is the overall total of the confirmed cases in Butuan city. 5,278 of it were recovered, 154were the confirmed deaths. To date, a total of 806 are confirmed with positive cases of Covid19.
The government always reminded the people in the city to strictly follow the color coding of quarantine pass when going out from their homes. as well as following the health and safety protocols like social distancing, wearing of face mask and face shield all the time. In fact, Butuan City Police together with the LTO are always conducting checkpoints to some areas.
