Butuan City Scouts Prepare for an Exciting GSP Encampment and BSP Camporal Event

The much-anticipated GSP Encampment and BSP Camporal Planning Conference was successfully held at the GSP Headquarters in Butuan City. The event, which gathered key leaders, coordinators, public schools district supervisors, and stakeholders from various districts, took place from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It focused on finalizing plans for the upcoming encampment, ensuring all activities and programs were well-organized and ready for execution.
The conference opened with a moving ceremony, including the GSP Promise and Law, the BSP Scout Oath and Law, and the vision and mission statements of both organizations. Key figures, including Dr. Rosemarie D. Olmedo and Scouter Crisanto V. Cajes, led discussions on the event’s structure, safety protocols, and essential guidelines for both the encampment and camporal activities.
A highlight of the event was the open forum and breakout sessions, where participants engaged in in-depth discussions and brainstorming on logistical needs, safety measures, and community-building activities for the youth scouts. The collaborative nature of the planning was praised, ensuring that all aspects of the program were thoroughly covered and ready for the scouts to enjoy.
