Completion Program for the ALS Literacy cum-Livelihood (LCL) Program at Butuan City Jail

Seven (7) female and seventy-seven (77) male PDL Alternative Learning System LCL Learners completed successfully their skills training in body massage, tailoring, and baking on February 9, 2023, at Butuan City Jail Compound.
 
The Completion Program was attended by the City Jail Warden JSUPT JOEL G CALIMBO, Regional Chaplain, JSUPT ALDRIN P ALAAN, Female Dorm Warden, SJO4 Roche C Salva, ALS Instructional Managers together with Brgy. Libertad Chairman, Hon Menchie D. Rosario, West Butuan District representatives headed by Mr. Romeo E. Estillore, Division ALS Focal Person, Ms. Ana Marie L. Ceniza and the Persons Deprived of Liberty.
 
ALS Literacy cum-Livelihood Program was made possible through the collective effort of Butuan City Jail in partnership with the Alternative Learning System West Butuan District, Brgy. Libertad Council and Butuan City LGU which provides training and income-generating opportunities to Butuan City Jail Persons Deprived of Liberty. As for the effect of livelihood program, the inmates become more responsible and productive individuals. ###
