Training on the STEM Up to Step Up Programme for ALS Teachers set in Caraga

The Bureau of Alternative Education in partnership with UNICEF-Philippines, through the Center for Integrated STEM Education in the Philippines will conduct the Training on the STEM Up to Step Up Programme for Alternative Learning System (ALS) Teachers – Batch 2 to 9.
It is a two-year programme that aims to boost the growth mindset and employability of our ALS learners through integrated STEM Education. In involves ALS module and resource enhancement, capacity-building of teachers and building a supportive ecosystem with community stakeholders to facilitate the integration and application of STEM-oriented pedagogies and socio-emotional learning in the ALS K-12 Basic Education Curriculum.
Caraga participants shall have a 2-week workshop consisting of five synchronous sessions through Zoom, and asynchronous sessions using DepEd PD LMS platform. Coaching sessions shall be scheduled to guide the participants with their expected outputs. ###
