Regional sports competition set Caraga

The Bureau of Learners Support Services School Sports will conduct the National Invitational Sports Competition in seven sports events, namely athletics, swimming, basketball, volleyball, sepak-takraw, table tennis and badminton to be played in the ASEAN School Games in Dumaguete City in November 2022.
The national Invitational Sports Competition (NISC) will serve as an alternative avenue for the efficient and effective identification and selection of student-athletes in the absence of Palarong Pambansa due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The NISC is aimed to identify and select the finest and most athletically talented secondary school-athletes who shall form part of the Philippine Delegation and compete against athletes from other ASEAN School Member countries.
In Caraga region, the RISC 2022 shall be conducted in the following venues and schedules: Sepak-Takraw on April 11-12, 2022 in Buenavista, Agusan del Norte; Badminton on April 11-12, 2022 in Butuan City; and Athletics on April 11-12, 2022 in Tandag City. ###
