Anti-corruption committees created in schools

In compliance to the Department of Education (DepEd) Order No. 007, s. 2022, DepEd Caraga regional director Ma. Gemma Mercado Ledesma directed all Schools Division Offices to create their respective Anti-Corruption Committees (ACC) to be submitted to the regional office on April 4, 2022 for consolidation and submission to the Central Office ACC Secretariat.
 
The Division ACC shall have the following composition: Chairperson – Schools Division Superintendent; Vice-Chairperson – Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; and Members – Division Attorney/Designated Legal Officers or in the absence thereof, the Division Administrative Office V, Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division, Chief of School Governance and Operations Division, and Division Information Officer. A stakeholder representative from the civil society organizations may be invited to sit in the committee as a member for a term of one year, subject to renewal.
 
The chairperson of the ACCs shall designate an office/division/unit as their respective secretariats who will render technical and administrative support to the committee. ###
