DepEd to conduct orientation on RPMS-PPST for SY 2021-2022

With the issuance of DepEd Memorandum No. 4, s. 2022 on the Implementation of the Results-Based Performance System – Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (RPMS-PPST) for School year 2021-2022, a 3-day orientation is scheduled on March 21 to 23, 2022 via livestreaming on the official Facebook Page, YouTube Channel, and website of DepEd Philippines.
 
According to DepEd Caraga regional director Ma. Gemma Mercado Ledesma in a memorandum released, the series of orientation will highlight the discussion of the guidelines on the performance management and appraisal of teachers using the remaining 18 indicators in the RPMS.
 
Director Ledesma enjoined all personnel with teaching and teaching-related positions from the 12 Schools Division Offices to participate in the national orientation through the specified virtual platforms in order to ensure extensive understanding and accurate interpretation of the RPMS-PPST for 2021-2022.
 
The orientation is divided into three episodes: Episode 1 with topic on PPST-based RPMS Through the Years. It is an overview on the key features of RPMS-PPST Year 3; Episode 2 – An In-Depth Look into the 18 PPST Indicators, a comprehensive discussion on the indicators and MOVs for Proficient and Highly Proficient Teachers and Teacher Broadcasters; and Episode 3 – Support Materials and Frequently Asked Questions, available tools and FAQs. ###
