DepEd issues revised signing authorities on Provident Fund Loans

The Department of Education (DepEd) has issued the Revised Signing Authorities on Provident Fund Loans (Amendment to DepEd Order No. 003, s. 2022, Amendment and Additional Provision of DepEd Order Numbers 36, s. 2002 and 037, s. 2019 [Prescribing the Maximum Loanable Amount and Delegation of Approving Authorities under DepEd Loanable Amount and Delegation of Approving Authorities under DepEd Provident Fund Program]).
The Provident Fund for the multi-purpose and additional loans of the regional office shall be recommended by the head of the regional provident fund board secretariat to the regional director for approval, while those from the schools division offices, the head of the schools division provident fund board secretariat will recommend to the schools division superintendent for approval for both the multi-purpose and additional loans.
