DepEd Caraga to webinar on SRMs

The Department of Education (DepEd), through the Curriculum and Learning Management Division will conduct a Regional Webinar on the Development of Supplementary Reading Materials (SRMs) to Enhance Critical Thinking and Reading Comprehension Skills in English on March 14 to 18, 2022 via Microsoft Teams.
The webinar is aimed to develop Supplementary Reading Materials (SRMs) in English for the elementary and secondary students; craft authentic materials and activities that suit the students’ needs in reading; and enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of participants in using authentic materials, and anchor teaching on the context of learners’ lives.
Expected participants are the 312 Education program Supervisors in English/Reading, Elementary and Secondary School Teachers who will serve as writers, illustrators, language editors and lay-out artists in the crafting of the SRMs. ###
