DepEd Caraga readies National, Local Elections

With the scheduled National and Local Elections by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) on May 9, 2022, the Department of Education (DepEd) Caraga region will create an election task force and operations and monitoring center.
DepEd Caraga regional director Ma. Gemma Mercado Ledesma in a memorandum has directed the Legal Unit under the Office of the Regional Director to constitute the said task force to be set-up at the DepEd Caraga.
Also, Schools division superintendents are likewise directed to create their own Election Task Force to facilitate the smooth communication and proper reference.
To ensure that functions of each member of the task force are attained to, an orientation is set on March 16 to 18, 2022 at General Santos City to be attended by the two members of the newly constituted Task Force of the region and four from the division offices are enjoined to attend. ###
