DepEd Caraga calls for participants of trainers on ILT

The National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP), through the Professional Development Division, calls for the nominations of participants for the National Trainers on Advancement of Basic Education (ABC+) Instructional Leadership Training (ILT) Upscaling.
 
Each region of the Department of Education (DepEd) is requested to endorse 20 qualified personnel on or before April 1, 2022 via email at pdd.pdi@deped.gov.ph.
 
Qualified participants will serve as the National Trainers for the Advancement of Basic Education Instructional Leadership Training Upscaling Program.
 
Based on a memorandum issued by DepEd Caraga regional director Ma. Gemma Mercado Ledesma, the following are the distribution of slots per Schools Division Office: Agusan del Norte -2; Agusan del Sur – 3; Bayugan City – 1; Bislig City – 1; Butuan City – 2; Cabadbaran City -1; Dinagat Islands – 1; Siargao Islands – 1; Surigao City -2; Surigao del Norte – 2; Surigao del Sur -3; and Tandag City – 1.
 
The ILT is a training program specially designed for school heads and supervisors. Its contents focus on developing literacy leaders who can foster a positive school climate and conditions such as social and emotional learning, gender and social inclusion, and developmentally appropriate practices to support quality literacy instruction.
 
Participants to the training must have the following qualifications: must be a master teacher, school head, public school district supervisor, education program supervisor; with technical background in Early Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program and/or Early Grade Reading for at least five years; Recognized as NEAP Certified Facilitator; has completed the School heads Development Program Foundation Course; Has strong background in curriculum and school operations; have had experience as a trainer or facilitator, including online training and facilitation; computer literate, tech-savvy, familiar with online platforms (such as Zoom, Moodle, google Suite); has good command of English and Filipino; and must not be more than 55 years of age. ###
