The pandemic that is spreading around the world, COVID-19, has left a large portion of workers unable to commute to work, in order to reduce the spread of the virus. This has resulted in both employers and employees looking for alternative work arrangements. Because of the pandemic, most if not all workers experienced work from home (WFH). So WFH has become a policy priority for most governments. In doing so, policies should be made keeping in mind practicality for both employers and employees. However, this current scenario provides unique insight into how well working from home is, and may play an important role in future policies shaping the current structure of working hours, possibly allowing for more flexible.
In this matter, the Department of Education has implemented work from home for the safety of teachers and students. For the school year 2021-2022, it will continue the new normal curriculum for students. They need to pursue the chosen learning modality they want so that they can continue to study even in their own homes.
This is a scenario playing out across the country as the number of coronavirus cases has grown and more employers are focusing on social distance practices that health officials say will help slow the spread of COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the virus. ###
