During the Brigada Eskwela activity of Taligaman NHS for S.Y. 2021-2022, 4000 eco-bags were hoarded by school.

To aid the distribution of modules, providing eco-bags to contain the modules was a big concern this year. In order to address this concern, Mrs. Maryanne G. Apostol, the Brigada Eskwela Program Coordinator strengthened the eco-bag drive which aimed to raise a number of eco-bags that would be sufficient to more than a thousand of students enrolled in TNHS.

Fortunately, with the help of all the stakeholders such as NGOs, LGUs, private individuals, partner organizations, alumni, and parents, the school was able to successfully reach a number of modules that are almost four times higher than the number of enrollees.

Parents, guardians, and students are the ones who benefited the most in this eco-bag drive.

“I am really grateful that the distribution of modules has been made easier and more convenient. I don’t have to pick each module anymore since all the modules are readily available in one eco-bag. It saves my time and effort. I could carry all those modules to my son hassle-free,” Mr. Rodrigo Batinting, a parent commented.

At present, the school continues to strengthen the eco-bag drive in order to respond to the needs in the remaining grading periods in the entire school year. ###
