DepEd issues recommended PPAs of the Student Government for SY 2021-2022

The Department of Education (DepEd), through the Bureau of Learner Support Services-Youth Formation, issues the Recommended Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) of the Student Government for School Year (SY) 2021-2022 to support the efficient operationalization of the Basic Education-Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP).
 
The realignment of the BE-LCP priorities aims to protect the health safety, and well-being of learners through the establishment of learner support systems that shall facilitate the provision of psychosocial support, health and safety measures, and remediation and enhancement of all types of learners.
 
The following are the PPAs that shall be organized and conducted at the school level by the Supreme Pupil Government:
a. Student Leadership Formation Programs;
b. Peer Coaching Activities;
c. International Youth Day Celebration;
d. National Children’s Month;
e. National Students Day;
f. National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims, Survivors and Families;
g. Core Values Advocacy; and School level World Teachers Month Celebration.
 
Also, the following are the PPAs to be organized by the Supreme Student Government:
a. Global Handwashing Day,
b. Brigada Eskwela,
c. Early Registration,
d. Children and Adolescent Health Advocacy Campaigns,
e. Disaster risk reduction activities for learners, and
f. Other DepEd youth-related activities.
 
DepEd Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones directed the regional directors, school division superintendents, and school heads and principals to ensure the smooth implementation of the Student Government Program by appropriate funds. ###
