A LIFETIME
Composer/ Poet: Jenny Lyn T. Nalupa, PhD, EdD
A person’s lifetime is always rated
Rated by the number who had served him.
There are people who will put you in hatred
And people who will raise you up in hymn.
They always say to forgive and forget
But there are times we may not let it slip.
It will come to a day that they’ll regret
And will suffer in agony’s grip.
We learn to live with every day’s lessons
And sometimes think if we do deserve it.
We all have our different confessions
But decided not to give up and quit.
Life is what we make it
It’s between life and death as we keep it.
This is the beauty of a man’s bright time
We thank God for giving us a lifetime.
