Why motivation is important? Why do people want it? Can motivation improve our lives? Truly motivation gives many valuable insights into human being. It elucidate why people set goals and strive for achievements. Motivation is valuable, it encourages people to urge harder in order to pursue dreams despite of different circumstances. It allows to gain valued outcomes like enhanced well-being, improved performance, and personal growth. Motivation is a pathway to change life.
One of the crucial and challenging aspects of becoming a teacher is learning how to motivate students. Which is important in the teaching – learning process. If the students are not well motivated learning may not be effective. They won’t participate in class activities, they may be passive and even others become disruptive. There are variety of reasons why students become unmotivated: they don’t have interest on the subject or the topic, they distracted with the external forces. Or the teacher’s method of teaching is un-engaging. Some students also who appeared unmotivated because they have difficulty in learning and in need of special attention.
A great teacher makes learning effective and enjoyable. Even motivating students can be a difficult task but the benefits to the students is immeasurably in the long run. The rewards are more than worth it. Motivated student are more interested to learn, participate and even engage in different activities. Students learned best when they are both challenged and interested. Teaching a class of motivated students is more enjoyable for teachers and students as well. Some students are self- motivated, with a natural love of learning. But even with the students who don’t have this natural drive, a great teacher can make learning fun and inspire them to reach their full potential. Teachers play vital roles in the lives of the students. They can make a difference!!! ###
