One way of keeping an eye to one’s performance is by looking through the lens of the artifacts presented by a particular individual to justify his or her competencies being achieved in the form of a portfolio.  As a professional documentation, portfolio provides proof of one’s accomplishments which demonstrates one’s mastery of competencies not just by telling what is it all about but also showing how one works well in his or her expected roles and functions.  Furthermore, portfolio showcases one’s professional relevant skills and abilities and a great way of keeping track of the accomplishments.

In the context of the journey of a school leader, portfolio is a living and changing collection of accomplishments in the implementation of LDMs, the leadership skills, journeys and meaningful experiences and attributes. It also showcases his or her some of the best works along with the achievements made, accentuates one’s abilities and on what he or she can offer and a living proof of marketing oneself.  Furthermore, a portfolio provides tangible proofs of skills and abilities, background, highlighting the accomplishments and experiences, achievements and goals and ambitions as they progress over time.

My LDM portfolio is a living document of my strengths which evolve over time and reflects who I am and what I can do.  It revolves on the context that “I do not show what I do not do”.  It features my skills and experiences in implementing LDMs in the new normal and provides a starting point for growth and development while visualizing feedback on how far I’ve come along in this professional engagement. ###
