Teacher and learners from Butuan Central Elem. School – STEC modelled Online Distance Learning

Last Thursday, July 16, 2020, Teacher Daisy Mae V. Cunanan of BCES-STEC together with her grade 5 learners simulate the Online Distance Learning which she receives a lot of appreciation from the Schools Division Superintendent Mrs. Marilou Dedumo with the ASDS, EPS, PSDS and all the participant in the said meeting via Google Meet.
In the simulation that was done by Mrs. Cunanan, it shows the 7 parts of conducting an Online Distance Learning. Namely, The Orientation of Parents and Pupils on Online Distance Learning, how the information and announcement were to be shared, The pre-conference between the teacher and principal, the actual teaching, the assessment, the post-conference and feedback mechanism. The simulation also shows the real scenario of what it would be like in the opening of classes comes August 24, 2020 if a teacher will use the modality of Online Distance Learning.
The simulation was excellently done resulting to the positive feedback from the division office personnel. The Principal of Butuan Central Elementary School, Dr. Jonas H. Jomonong, bags a lot of appreciation and congratulations because of his great leadership on this activity.
Though the said meeting via Google Meet was just a dry run, it is expected for the pre-recorded simulation of Online Distance Learning will be shown during the Regional ManCom in the presence of DepEd CARAGA Regional Director, Dr. Francis Caesar Bringas. In the said ManCom, the different modality will also be shown that will be used this coming opening of classes.
DepEd CARAGA, together with the RD down to the teachers are really hands on for the preparation for the opening of classes comes August 24, 2020. ###
