How the online classes work

Online learning modality becomes the talk of every teacher in facing the New Normal in the educational system. To every teacher who is technophobic or those who are not capacitated in using technology, it would be a great difficulty for them if they are chosen to be in this modality. However, to those who are tech-savvy, it would be easier for them to adapt this kind of modality.
For online classes, it is essential to have a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection for the learning to take place. Of course, electricity is not under our control, so in any problems with this, it is unavoidable. Another necessity to an online teacher is the knowledge regarding on the online applications that can be utilized during contact hours with the learners. To earn this, one should have attended the website seminars offered by the different departments or schools online like the Edtech Unit and the Department of Information and Technology. Furthermore, you should not stick onto the knowledge you have earned, but rather you should do the learning into doing by trying to discover things on those applications mentioned. You can open those applications and make a try and you can even make your own. Such online applications like the Kotobee Author where you can make your own modules; Mentimeter, Bookwidgwets, Quizziz and Kahoot!, those will direct you to make your own interactive quizzes and so much more; Slido, Peardeck, Nearpod, Google Slides, MS Powerpoint and Canva will let you make interactive presentations; Powtoon and EDPuzzle will be used in creating interactive videos; and Google Forms will make it easier for the formative and summative assessments.
Online classes will be so much easier if you are willing to adapt new challenges especially in the new normal. Because anything is possible as long as you want to learn. ###
