ACES mentors celebrate Teachers’ Day

October is said to be the National Teachers’ Month. It is usually celebrated every 5th day of the month. All schools nationwide celebrate on this day. Amparo Central Elementary School (ACES) Mentors participates in the same occasion.
The pupils of ACES headed by the Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) President Donna Yanoga, a grade six pupil, led the Amparians in the conduct of the program last October 4, 2019, at Amparo, Butuan City in honor and respect to all their teachers from Kindergarten to Grade Six respectively who once became their second mothers, their teachers, their mentors, their friends, their engineers, their doctors, their nurse, their priests and all the roles a teacher can be. It was such a smooth preparation. There were tributes by some selected pupils in every grade. Even the members of the GPTA’s also pay a tribute to their beloved teachers.
Then comes the momentous moment when teachers by grade levels namely Mrs. Belinda E. Rendon-Kindergarten, Mrs. Aiza Mae A. Azarcon and Miss Mila Malazarte Grade –I, Mrs. Brenda Lyn E. Blanco, Ms, Rubegel Edulsa and Ms. Joy B. Betaizar Grade –II, Mrs. Karen Maslog and Ms. Jessilyn Rose Tulay Grade-III, Mrs. Rhysa Silaga and Ms. Aikeen Rose Valles Grade-IV, Mrs. Laarni C. Berandal, Ms. Diane A. Bonghanoy and Ms. Sheila Vanessa Piloton Grade- V, Ms. Jassel Amba, Ms. Ivy Torcende and Ms. Regen Garma Grade- VI, were called to sit in front of the stage where all their respective pupils one by one in line come up to offer their gifts to their beloved “Ma’am” including all the implementing teachers and of course the Principal Mr. Orben D. Arconada. Different kinds of gifts were received by the teachers.
Some pupils gave cards which were personally made, and some were ready made. Some gave flowers from their gardens and some were artificial ones. Some gave candies and chocolates wherein some were bought using their own savings and some were asked from their parents just to show their love to their teachers. After then, the teachers went out to watch a movie together as one big happy family. Then later went to eat dinner together at Dimsum House. Then continued the celebration at Whatever Sing and Karaoke.
It was a great moment of celebration. And end up looking forward for the next year’s Teachers’ Day Celebration. ###
