Bacala, Almendras crowned Nutri King, Queen

“Kumain ng Wasto at Maging Aktibo… Push Natin ‘to!” was the 2019 Nutrition Month theme. All schools are enjoined to participate through meaningful activities to create importance of nutrition among Filipinos as mandated in the Presidential Decree 491.
Amparo Central Elementary School (ACES), conducted its Nutrition Culmination last July 31, 2019, with the find raising coronation of the Nutri-King & Queen 2019 was the highlight of the said event. Mark Anthony Bacala was the crowned King and Angela Almendras was the crowned Queen.
Other members of the entourage were Vhanex Dalen and Jesafe Madelo as the first runners-up, Charlie Zar Galay and Ella Encinada as he second runners-up, Sean Ree Aroyal and JV Bless matulac as the third runners-up, and JohnEric Cabudlan and Shane Haya as the fourth runners-up. The said event was also participated by 11 boys and 12 girls from Kindergarten up to Grade Six respectively.
There was also “Tabo sa Eskwelahan”, as the morning’s activities. A group of children from the lower grades displayed different kinds of green leafy vegetables and some fruit vegetables. Children also from the higher grades displayed different kinds of fruits which were proudly taken from their very own gardens.
It was a successful activity. We just hope that the important message behind this event will forever linger in the minds and hearts of our pupils and their parents, the very essentials of a healthy human being. ###
