ML Pineda responds to 2019 Brigada Eskwela

To answer the call of the National School Maintenance Week coined as Brigada Eskwela which aims to bring together all education stakeholders to participate, and contribute their time, effort and resources and primarily ready the public school facilities for the opening of the school year in June, ML Pineda Elementary School with its internal stakeholders united in responding to this activity.
This year’s theme “Matatag na Bayan para sa Maunlad na Paaralan” reminded all school faculty, students, and external partner to intensify its effort in preparing the school for the learners.
Individuals and group partners of the school extended their support through various forms. Several activities were implemented and devised in response to the call of the Department of Education.
According from the school’s consolidated report during Brigada Eskwela 2019, the school collated an amount of 414,046.00 pesos from generated resources ( infrastructure, donations): labor force ; and volunteered manpower.
“This is not a one show but it’s a collective result”, Joy A. Natural, School Brigada Eskwela Coordinator emphasized. She added that donations from external stakeholders marked the significant amount in the total generated amount of money during the activity.
Maria Aurora A. Ecoben, the school principal, also added that parents played the vital roles during the Brigada Eskwela by volunteering their skills, sharing their time and providing in-kind support to the school. ###
