DepEd Caraga celebrates women’s month

As part of the observance of the annual Women’s Month celebration, the Department of Education (DepEd) Caraga region joins the celebration with the theme “We Make Change Work for Women”.
The theme gives emphasis in enabling women to become an active contributor to claim holders of development. This pursuit of development is anchored on the commitment of “Malasakit at Pagbabago” or Compassion and Real Change.
DepEd Caraga regional director Francis Cesar B. Bringas orders all schools division superintendents are encouraged to take part in the celebration spearheaded by the local government units, other partners, and stakeholders.
Different schools’ divisions are also directed to support in the celebration by hanging a tarpaulin and wear purple shirt/polo shirt with Gender and Development statement every Friday for the whole month of March. ###
