Butuanon Teachers Champ Science Investigatory Project in 16th National Science Quest

Once again, teachers from Butuan City schools division proved their excellence as they bagged gold medals being the champion in Science Investigatory Project (SIP – Physical) Teachers’ Team Category during the 16th National Science Quest held on February 8-10, 2019 at Teachers Camp, Baguio City. The National Science Quest is a DepEd recognized annual event spearheaded by the Association of Science Educators in the Philippines (ASEP) National.
The SIP competition was participated by twelve (12) teams of teachers coming from the different regions in the country. Butuan Team was represented by Sherwen B. Gales of Baobaoan Elementary School, Bryan M. Luzon of Ampayon Central Elementary School and Raymond G. Tayo of Taguibo Elementary School. The said team won the first place on the division level and second place on the regional level allowing them to represent DepEd Caraga Region in this particular national competition. ###
