PHA conducts annual conference

The Philippine Historical Association (PHA) will conduct the 2018 Annual Conference with the theme “Bridging the Gap: The Role of Academic and Public History in Shaping the Nation on September 20 to 22, 2018 in Pasay City (Day 1 and 2) and at the national Museum of Natural History (Day 3), City of Manila.
The conference is aimed to determine the state of Public History in the Philippines; identify trends in the development of public history; recognize Filipino historians and other scholars doing research on public history; serve as an outlet of cutting edge historical research; enrich historical education; provide a venue for collaboration and networking between the academe and various industries; and make historical research relevant to contemporary needs.
Target participants are schools’ division superintendents, district supervisors, and principals of elementary and secondary schools. ###
