BUTUAN CITY – As a way to celebrate the yuletide season, the Bit-os Elementary School (Bit-os ES) in partnership with Saint Joseph Institute of Technology (SJIT) Graduate School share their blessings through a “Pamaskong Handog” to the pupils of Bit-os ES held at its Multi-Purpose Hall here.
The pupils, parents and teachers are so thankful to SJIT staff headed by the Graduate School dean Dr. Clara D. Almendralejo for the support extended to their school.
Beneficiaries of the Pamaskong Handog are the 30 pupil-beneficiaries from grade IV to grade VI who are less privileged in terms of financial matters. They will enjoy being free from financial obligations in terms of authorized contribution from the school.
A big smile seen on the beneficiaries’ faces as they received their gifts. As token to their kindness and generosity, the pupils as well as their parents heartily rendered a Christmas song.
Also, Dr. Almendralejo in her message as she observe in the campus, inspires the pupils and the beneficiaries and encourage them to maintain and sustain their backyard gardening as part of their agreement to minimize malnutrition and improve their nutritional status.
The partnership with the SJIT Graduate School is embedded in RA 8525 or the Adopt-A-School Program which provides a pathway in collaboration to sustain the spirit of partnership in addressing resource needs in providing quality learning environment. (DepEd-Butuan City Division)
