DepEd to administer NCAE
BUTUAN CITY – The Department of Education (DepEd) will administer the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) for the School year 2016-2017 to all Grade 9 students in both public and private schools nationwide from March 1 to 2, 2017.
In Butuan City, DepEd will conduct the test to the different schools on the specified dates.
NCAE is an aptitude test to be conducted by DepEd to provide Junior High School students information through test results for self-assessment, career awareness and career guidance of the K to 12 Basic Education Program (BEP).
This is an annual test, which has been conducted since 2006 that seeks to minimize the mismatch in career choices vis-a-vis skills and inclinations among high school students. ## (Maria Linda L. Costillas, DepEd Butuan City Division)
