DepEd conducts natl K to 12 conference

BUTUAN CITY – The Department of Education (DepEd) will conduct the Second National K to 12 Conference 2017 from January 10 to 11 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

Said conference aims to fully empower the Department’s mandates in ensuring that its program as well projects is implemented with utmost quality, dedication and commitment.

The Conference also aims to ensure that the K to 12 Basic Education Program is administered properly based on policies and guidelines issued by the Department.

During the two-day conference, a presentation of best practices on how the K to 12 implementers have been successful in implementing their programs focusing on Kindergarten, Multigrade System, Special Education, Madrasah, Indigenous Peoples, and Senior High School.

Also, the conference will take into account the implementation of Alternative Learning System and the Alternative Delivery Mode.

Furthermore, the conference will tackle some issues, challenges and interventions on Special Programs for the Arts, Sports, Science, Foreign Languages, and Journalism.

The conference is organized according to the objectives of the K to 12 Planning and Implementation.
