Bit-os elem school conducts ‘Pamaskong Handog’
BUTUAN CITY – The Bit-os Elementary School (BES) teaching staff headed by its principal Dr. Jonas H. Jomonong recently initiated a ‘Pamaskong Handog’ here.
Each recipients of the ‘Pamaskong Handog’ from Purok 5 and 6 of Barangay Bit-os here were given packs that contain basic commodities such rice, canned goods, noodles and other kitchen necessities.
Teachers hiked from resident’s house to another, serenading them with Christmas songs. Despite walking under the hot blazing sun, and muddy, grassy road, they can say it was all worth it as they saw the happiness in their eyes not just because of the simple gifts that they brought to them but because of their presence.
Also, each BES teacher shared five kilos rice, five canned goods, five packs noodles, and kitchen necessities inorder to realized the said event. ## (Gemma T. Tito, DepEd Butuan City Division)
