Airline calls out YouTuber who hid in suitcase during flight
A famous YouTuber was reprimanded by an airline after he filmed himself crawling inside a suitcase during a one-hour flight to Sydney from Melbourne, Australia.
Adam Saleh, who calls himself a “professional idiot,” posted a video on YouTubelast week, wherein his friends are shown zipping him inside a giant suitcase during their Tiger Airways flight. He filmed himself while being cramped inside the luggage and said, “I am so scared, I don’t know if I’m going to survive.”
After the flight, his friends collected him inside the bag, which was overweight at 66 kilograms. A sweaty and tired Saleh sprang up to the amusement of other airport passengers.
Unfortunately, the New York-based Youtuber might have had a bad day when Tiger Airways shaded him on Twitter. “Nice try, Adam. But definitely, [there are] a few inconsistencies with this video, namely the fact we have footage of you boarding the plane,” it fired back.
According to news.com.au, the low-cost carrier said that the airport’s automated bag drop machines can only accommodate a limit of 32 kilograms per piece, and not a 66-kg bag storing an impish online star. “Had you been in the baggage hold, by the time you arrived in Sydney you would have been a popsicle,” it said, highlighting that Saleh would have died of suffocation when he enacted his bizarre stint.

The clip has racked up 594,000 views as of Monday. ## Gianna Francesca Catolico (INQUIRER.net)
