Janitor holds colleague hostage in SM Dasmariñas restroom
LOS BANOS, Laguna—A male janitor at the SM mall in Dasmariñas City, Cavite held a female colleague hostage, police on Sunday said.
As of 2:30 pm, negotiations between the hostage taker and the police were still ongoing, said Cavite Sr. Supt. Arthur Bisnar in a phone interview.
Bisnar said the initial information that he received was that the janitress was being held at knife point inside a restroom of the mall.
“It appears the reason was jealousy,” Bisnar said.
